| Sycamore Valley Cabin is now completed. This vacation rental cabin has been designed and built with all of the creature comforts we could accommodate in a cozy, but luxurious cedar cabin.
From the moment you enter the front door, until the time comes to pack up your bags to head home, you will feel like you are experiencing the getaway home of your dreams. The cozy feel of brick and cedar walls , the smell of leather furniture, the warmth of hardwood floors, and the beauty of the "wall of windows" in the cathedral living room : are all intended to give you a pleasant sense of calm and relaxation while you escape the real world during your stay w/ us.
And if you need further help unwinding, then fit yourself into the massage chair, put it on "relax" mode, and get ready to surrender to the urge to sleep! Your "escape" won't be complete until you've experienced this exceptional indulgence.
The cabin is available to rent on a daily, weekly, or weekend basis, starting in mid-January, 2007. The Cabin is located in a pleasant valley near Lake Monroe , surrounded by forest and meadows owned by the Army Corps of Engineers. Whitetail deer, fox, coyote, wild turkey, bald eagles, and herons frequent this area. There may even be a resident muskrat in the nearby creek.
Sycamore Valley Cabin is a luxury unit w/ a rustic interior and exterior design that fits it's natural setting. The cabin features a hot tub, sauna, large screen home theater system, gas wood stove, and pool table.
The interior of the cabin is highlighted by the panoramic view of the valley and hills surrounding the cabin property through a 2-story "wall of windows" . The entire valley is protected government property . Scenes of hawks and eagles soaring overhead scouring the floor of the valley, and bucks, does, and fawns traveling the whitetail deer "highway" that parallels the creek below the cabin, will make it easy to "rejuvenate the spirit" here.
In addition, our guests will enjoy hiking or biking to the lake(1/3 mile), or using our kayaks, canoe or pontoon boat on Adventure Bay, before relaxing in the cabin of an evening. You'll have the lake to yourself during the off season and on weekdays.
So... go ahead and splurge a little bit. You deserve it. 
The toughest part of your weekend will be deciding what to do first. You can get energized by playing pool, pinball, foosball, slots, darts, or board games. You can also start w/ the resort style full body therapy, by taking a sauna, followed by a back and leg massage(in the 5 star massage recliner), and finish off w/ a hot tub soaking in 104 degree jetted water (in the privacy of your living room!!).
And Don't forget:
before you turn in for the night (to the loft bedroom) in your own Tempur-pedic weightless comfort bed, take a few minutes to turn down the lights, crank up the gas wood stove , and enjoy the flames dancing off the wood walls .
